At Fort McCoy School, we are committed to building strong character and creating a positive school culture where all students can thrive. One way we support this is through our school-wide expectations, which guide student behavior and promote success both in and out of the classroom.
Our School-Wide Expectations:
Do your best.
Do what’s right.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
These expectations apply to all situations—whether in class, during lunch, on the bus, or even at home. We encourage parents and guardians to talk with their children about these values and reinforce them daily.
Students who follow our Cougar expectations are recognized and rewarded with PBIS Points, which can be used to shop at the school store or gain access to special events. In addition, students with no discipline referrals each nine weeks are eligible for extra incentives.
These programs are designed to keep students motivated, focused, and growing into respectful, responsible leaders.
