Purpose: National Beta was established to recognize students for academic achievement, character, and leadership while encouraging growth through service. Members develop leadership skills, serve their community, compete in academic and fine arts events, build friendships, strengthen college and scholarship applications, and proudly represent Fort McCoy School.
Requirements: 3.5 GPA, no referrals in the prior academic year, 2 hours of community service per month.
Club Meetings: 1st and 3rd Thursday 2:15-4:00pm
Grade levels: 5th-8th
Dues: $100
Major Activities: State Convention, National Convention, Safe Halloween (Haunted House), and Laying of the Wreaths
